Miguel Villena Díaz

Miguel Villena Díaz, Chairman of Tomsa Destil, began his professional studies in 1973, graduating as an Industrial Engineer from the University of Seville, with a Master’s Degree in Industrial Electronics from the Universidad Laboral de Eibar, graduating with honors.

He began his professional career in the technical department of Talleres Ovidio Martínez (Ciudad Real) and later as Technical Director at Inarco (Seville). Years later, he assumed the role of General Manager of the OM Group (Ciudad Real), where he managed five industrial alcohol production complexes in Spain, Argentina and Panama, as well as an alcohol production equipment manufacturing workshop and a company in the food sector.

From 1996 to date, Miguel is President of the Tomsa Group (Madrid), leading the delivery of more than 700 successful projects for the biochemical industry, with an important portfolio of clients in more than 48 countries around the world.
